Practical Nursing Program

The knowledge and hands-on experience students gain from our practical nursing program in Waterford, Michigan, will prepare them to become licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who are responsible for the following:
- Providing basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Monitoring patient health and recording vital signs
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Communicating patient conditions and updates to the healthcare team
Students enrolled in our practical nursing training program will learn essential nursing concepts, including areas such as:

This program duration may vary and includes comprehensive classroom instruction, lab training, and clinical experience. We require all students to have:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Background check
- TB Testing
- Proof of COVID vaccination and/or negative COVID test result within 48 hours
